About Lidsing

Lidsing is a small hamlet of 13 houses accessed by rural country roads near Hempstead, Lordswood and Bredhurst. Although it is right on the border of Medway, it is in the jurisdiction of Maidstone Borough Council who are planning to build 2000 houses here (a 15000% increase) and this will become the Lidsing Garden Development.  

Maidstone Borough Council will collect the council tax but Medway residents will suffer the consequences with schools, GPs, roads and the already over-burdened Medway Hospital severely impacted.
